Our Program

Little Leaders Learn & Play Granum daycare is located within the Granum School to offer support to their school program. This program is guided by the interests of our children, from children 19 months to 6 years of age. Our team uses clear communication to take a personalized approach on the unique needs of your family while focusing on creating a loving and welcoming environment. Our vision is to help children build foundational learning for future school.

Little Leaders Learn & Play Granum Out of School Care program will run year round, providing FULL-DAY care on Fridays since Granum School is observing a four-day school week. We will also align with the local school board calendar and will operate full-days when Granum School is closed (i.e. summer holidays, PD days). This program is offered for students from 5 to 12 years of age attending preschool or higher. Our vision is to provide an engaging environment for students to feel welcome and safe in our space, while building on their foundational learning to assist their needs in the school environment.

We are focused on forming relationships in and around our community and with our families, while utilizing play based programs, games, and educational activities in a fun and safe environment to learn and play.

Ages We Support

Little Leaders Learn & Play Granum accepts children from 19 months to 12 years, or until their first day of grade 7. We have three classrooms:

Little Wolves - 19 months to 3 years

Little Lions - 3 to 6 years

Bee Hive - 5 to 12 years

Children are placed into the classroom that best fits the needs of each child and the class as a whole. We have a space that allows for us to be flexible with the needs of our staff and children on a daily basis to the best of our ability.

This location provides and Out of School Care program. Children who attend Granum School and need care outside of school hours, as well as non-school days are provided a welcoming space in the Bee Hive. Students in Preschool and Kindergarten programs will be accommodated in the Lion room on their non-school days.

Little Leaders Learn & Play Granum accepts children 19 months to 12 years of age, or until their first day of grade 7. Our facility operates year-round, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

To enroll in our program, first you must fill out and return our Enrollment Form. Once it is submitted, you will be contacted by the Program Director to further discuss enrollment as space becomes available.

If during your child’s stay with us, there is a change of employment, home address, or telephone number, it is the parent’s or legal guardian’s responsibility to notify the daycare management in writing of such changes. Our management must be able to contact responsible parents/guardians at all times during the normal hours of operation of the daycare center.
